Safety

Many accidents occur as the result of uninformed or ill-considered decisions being made before leaving the boathouse. Weather and water conditions, time of day, the equipment and appropriate supervision, are all critical components that must be assessed in order to ensure that it is a safe rowing situation.

Safety starts before you go on the water . . . and safety is everyone’s business.

The following policies are currently in effect. All members should make themselves aware of the content of the FRC policies that are posted here.
