Our Mission is to deliver and/or assist in the delivery of a variety of rowing programs, that provide diverse athletes the opportunity to learn, play, progress, train, and compete in the sport of rowing across the lifespan.

Our
Vision is a sustainable, diverse, and welcoming rowing community in Fredericton that positively contributes to the well-being (physical, mental, emotion, social) of participants and encourages participants to stay active across the lifespan, through the sport of rowing.

At the core of our mission and visions are these
Values:
  • Inclusion: Inclusion within the FRC means we are open to listening, working with, and learning about different viewpoints, and we welcome and respect differences.
  • Diversity: Diversity within the FRC means we value rowing as a sport for everybody and where all are welcome, respected and supported to the best of our ability.
  • Integrity: Integrity within the FRC means we are uncompromising in our ethical behaviour and in our commitment to transparency and honesty.
  • Respect and Responsibility: Respect and responsibility within the FRC means we are in control and accountable for what we do and say. We treat others, through both words and actions, as we wish to be treated. We value our crew-mates and competitors, celebrating wins and winners with gratitude and grace, accepting all losses with dignity, seeing both results as learning opportunities.
